VoiceThread is an interactive discussion and collaboration tool built into myCourses that can be used to facilitate rich, asynchronous conversations around images, documents, presentations, and videos. Join us next week on Monday at our Humanizing Online Discussions with VoiceThread workshop to learn about taking your online discussions to the next level using this exciting new tool.
On Tuesday morning we are offering a Getting Started in myCourses workshop. myCourses allows instructors to post files, accept assignment submissions, incorporate multimedia from popular websites like YouTube, and more!
Our Online Teaching and Learning Strategies course that starts on Wednesday, November 2nd provides an introduction to the current research and best practices for online teaching and learning. Participants will work both independently and collaboratively with peers to design and organize a unit of online learning to be built in a myCourses site. This fully-online four week course is designed to support the UMass Dartmouth Quality Online Course Review Rubric.
