On Wednesday our fall semester offering of the Blended Learning: Finding the Mix online workshop begins. In blended classes, a portion of the traditional face-to-face instruction is replaced by internet-based online learning. During this two-week long fully online workshop, you will explore how one unit of your face-to-face course could be redesigned and delivered in a blended format.

VoiceThread is an interactive discussion and collaboration tool built into myCourses that can be used to facilitate rich, asynchronous conversations around images, documents, presentations, and videos. Join us for our Humanizing Online Discussions with VoiceThread workshop next Friday to learn about taking your online discussions to the next level using this exciting new tool.

REEF Polling allows instructors to shake up their lectures by engaging students with multiple choice, numeric, and short answer questions. Students can respond from their phone, tablet, or laptop and the instructor can display the results data immediately afterward on the projector to discuss as a class.
