Intense and Intentionality: Navigating the Complexities of Hybrid-Flexible Learning Experience
In this activity-packed session, we’ll explore some of the challenges of hybrid-flexible teaching with students physically and virtually present. Through collaborative engagement, reflection, and dialogue, participants will identify some of their individual challenges along with possible strategies to address them while also adding new practices to make the multi-modal/hybrid experience more effective for faculty and students.

Speaker Biography:
Lance Eaton is the Director of Digital Pedagogy at College Unbound, an instructor at North Shore Community College and Southern New Hampshire University, as well as a doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts, Boston with a dissertation that is focusing on how scholars engage in academic piracy. He has given talks, written about, and run workshops on hybrid flexible learning, open pedagogy, digital service-learning, and universal design for learning among many other topics. His musings, reflections, and ramblings can be found on his blog, By Any Other Nerd as well as on Twitter.
