Stream and Record Classes with Echo360

Echo360 is a lecture capture solution that can record in-class sessions that automatically captures:

  • the instructor at the podium
  • room/system audio
  • your computer
  • a document camera
  • any additional input (eg, media playing)

This system is entirely automatic and can make recordings available for students to watch online after class. It requires no intervention from the instructor beyond their request to have a class recorded.

Note: Use of Echo360 is done in accordance with the UMass Dartmouth Lecture Capture Policy.

What is Echo360 Live, and how does it work?

While most instructors provide a recording of their lecture after the fact, there is also the ability to provide students with a live stream of the lecture while it is happening. Note that while students will be able to watch the lecture live, interactivity is very limited.
