There will be some special considerations for faculty and students dealing with incompletes during the transition from myCourses to Canvas, as it is not technically possible to transfer student work from myCourses to Canvas.

• Resolve before transition: If at all possible, we recommend resolving incompletes for courses taken in myCourses before the end of access to the myCourses server (June 30 2025)
• Download Needed Work: In cases where the incomplete needs to be resolved later, the student (or supervising instructor) must download any needed work from MyCourses before the June 30 end of access.
• No Restores Available: CITS will not be able to restore or provide access to work that has not been downloaded  from Blackboard.
• Request a Course Copy: CITS will be able to provide a copy of the relevant course site in Canvas, with access for both instructor and student, but as noted previously, this will not include any student work. Supervising instructors can submit a case to request this as needed.
