Note that here are two basic ways to add a Kaltura video to a course site:

• Add a module item:  Instructors can add videos to any existing module in Canvas using the steps below
• Embed Video via the Rich Content Editor:  Instructors and students can add videos anywhere the Rich Content Editor appears (discussion posts, assignments, quizzes, announcements etc.)

Add a Video to a Canvas Module

To do this:

• • Go to the Modules area in your course and click the + button next to the appropriate module
  • Select “External Tool”
  • Scroll down and click “Select from Kaltura Media”
    
  • Select the video you wish to add by clicking Embed, or click “Add New” to record or upload a new video
  • Click Add New to add the video to Canvas
  • You may need to click and drag to move the video to the correct location in your module (it will be added at the bottom)
