Note: We do not currently have a dedicated form to request Canvas TA access (we hope to have one eventually however).
In the meanwhile, in order to complete these requests, we require evidence of the completed hiring process. We can accept the following items as proof of hiring:
- A copy of the SECOND email from Student Employment saying that the hiring process is complete – not the first email that just says the hiring process has begun.
- A screenshot from CORSAIR Jobs showing the student’s workflow status as COMPLETE

Once you send us proof of the completed hiring process, we can add a TA to your course. Please provide the following information via IT Help:
- Student’s full name
- Student’s UMass username/email
- Course / section (e.g., ACT 211-01)
- Specific role to assign the student (See Canvas Course Support Role Permissions)
- Proof of hiring, as specified above.
