This Week in ID – 3/7 to 3/11

As some of you may have noticed, LARTS 208 was remodeled over the summer. The space is now designed to facilitate active team-based learning. Instead of traditional row seating, students sit in groups of five where each student has a laptop and each group has their own television screen to project on. We invite you to attend our “Technology for Team-Based Learning” workshop tomorrow to explore active and collaborative learning strategies that utilize the technology of LARTS 208.
This workshop is limited to College of Arts & Sciences faculty.

REEF Polling allows instructors to shake up their lectures by inserting multiple choice, numeric, and short answer questions. Students can respond from their phone, tablet, or laptop and the instructor can display the results data immediately afterward on the projector to discuss as a class. Attend our Polling with REEF workshop on Thursday afternoon to learn more about this in-class engagement tool.
